Born in Santa Barbara

Coast Park was founded by Santa Barbara native Parker Peterson after returning home from ten years of service in the United States Air Force as a Pararescueman.

The same principles of service, accountability, and attention to detail that guided his military career continue to shape Coast Park's approach today.
